Brand: Designing a Logo for a Thalassotherapy Day Spa

Sea Spa, a premier day spa focuses on offering unique, ocean-inspired wellness experiences. Specialising in seaweed wraps and Thalassotherapy treatments. Sea Spa combines the therapeutic benefits of marine-based therapies in a tranquil, luxurious environment.

Brand Design Requirements

Luxury brand, Sea Spa approached Seaweed & Spruce requiring our expertise in a rebranding project. The project includes the creation of a brand logo, cohesive typography, seamless patterns and a fresh color palette. The challenge was to capture the essence of the ocean without using direct water imagery. Instead, the design needed to convey a sense of movement, freshness and beauty, aligning with the spa’s serene and luxurious identity. A seamless pattern was also required and intended for versatile use across packaging, products, merchandise, business cards, pamphlets and posters, ensuring visual cohesion in all brand materials. The color palette should evoke the tranquility and vitality of the ocean focusing on hues of blues and greens that suggest the sea’s calming presence. The typography must complement the brand’s modern and elegant aesthetic, ensuring readability and sophistication across different formats.

Ultimately, this project aims to establish a cohesive and memorable brand identity for Sea Spa, reflecting its commitment to offering a premium, nature-inspired spa experience. The final deliverables will include a logo, typography guidelines, seamless pattern files and a color palette, all accompanied by a comprehensive brand style guide to ensure consistent application across various platforms.
